New York, NY| Five member of the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) men's soccer team appeared on Skyline Men's Soccer All-Conference teams, which were revealed on the conference's website on Monday afternoon.

SJC, along with Mount St. Mary and SUNY Maritime, placed three student-athletes on the First-Team: senior Justin Busto, junior Marc Ceruti and sophomore Rayneri Ruiz.

A former two-time Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll honoree, Busto earns an All-Conference nod for the first time in his career following his final collegiate season. Playing mostly as a midfielder, Busto finished third on the team in goals (4) and fifth in points (9).Busto's two game-winning goals were second best.

Ceruti, a Suffolk County Community College transfer, started in all 17 matches for SJC this season and helped hold a backline that posted five shutouts. Ceruti and the SJC defense boasted a 1.82 goals-against average, which ranked fifth in the conference.

Ruiz, the team's leader in goals (13) and points (31), claims a First-Team nod after figuring into 56% of SJC's offensive production this season. A two-time recipient of Skyline Player of the Week and ECAC Metro Offensive Player of the Week honors, Ruiz led the conference in total shots (86) and shots-per-game (5.38) and was tied for second with four game-winning goals.

Additionally, Ruiz ranked fourth in points and points-per-game (1.94) and was fifth in goals and goals-per-game (.813).

Appearing on the Second-Team were senior Robert Gomez and sophomore Damian Duda. Gomez, one of the team's three captains, collected three assists on the year playing as a central defender and a holding midfielder.

Duda, who appeared in 15 matches, led the team in assists (7) and was second in goals (5) and points (17).
